The Accounts & Finance Department is responsible for:

  • Providing unified financial accounting;
  • Providing an effective and efficient control system; and
  • Developing a comprehensive system of Cheque Preparation, and Receipts Payment which are simultaneously updated in the General Ledger on a real time basis.

The Units are also responsible for the issuing of all Administrative Payments, maintaining a Central Accounting System, and producing reports for all Agencies.

In addition, DBSKN engages in debt financing, that is sourcing payment to service the banks’ debts and sourcing funding via loans.

Daily and monthly maintenance of the Bank’s Reconciliation and Client Accounts are also functions of the Units.
